Interested in trying Irish dance for yourself? Columbus Celtic Dancers welcomes adults (ages 18+) with any level of experience, including none at all!
Location: Basement of the Ohio Theatre (39 E. State St., Columbus, OH 43215), practice room #1. Enter through the side door in the corridor between State Street and the Columbus Commons. Parking may be found in the Statehouse parking garage or surrounding streets.
Beginner Ceili Class: Monday 6:30 - 7:30 pm
Solo/Advanced Class: Monday 7:30 - 8:30 pm
*Our season begins the first Monday after Labor Day and ends with the Dublin Irish Festival in early August.
Cost: Beginner tuition is $50 per month, payable at the first class session of each month. Intermediate/advanced dancers taking both ceili and solo classes will pay $60 per month. Annual membership dues of $50 are also required for each dancer.
Equipment: Wear athletic clothes and comfortable shoes. Bring a water bottle.
Performances: Performances are entirely optional. A group costume and traditional ghillies (ladies) or reel shoes (men) are required for performances.
There is no advanced registration for adult classes. Adults who are new to Irish dance should come to the beginner class at 6:30 pm. You do not need to come with a partner. For more information, please contact the group at cbus.celtic@gmail.com.
